Posted on twitter, I followed the link to 'the disposable memory project' where cameras have been sent out all over the world for anyone to take photos and send them back to the site. The results are really interesting to look through and find out where they've been.

Reading week.

Over reading week I took the opportunity to pop home for a little bit, being as I haven't been back since august. It was quite nice, had a day or so of doing nothing and did the usual visit family, get my hair cut.. (according the barber it had been over 3 months) have a bath, a roast, clean washing and collect some food. The typical student thing to do? On saturday before I came back, I went into nottingham and sampled some of its delights. This week has been the game-city festival, and they had Lego rock band on the main stage. It looked really fun, while watching you could play with lego at the tables in the tent. I made a Rocketcarship.. naturally.
That day the Designer/professional doodler Jon Burgerman of Nottingham had a sale in his studio to clear some space/move studio (im not 100% sure) and I picked up some gems! I got straight in but apparently people were queuing for an hour afterwards to get in.. I got a vinyl sticker..

Every set should be like this.

Not really graphic design, but more interactive design to increase stair use. In association with Volkswagen (those clever germans) they turned normal stairs into piano keys. Amazing

browsing in my leisure, I came across this gem on youtube. If only I knew about it in my first year for visual language! using a piece of software, recreating each instrument in a different colour for
Beethoven's 5th. Enjoy.

Simon's Cat

My girlfriend Sara, showed me for the first time. 'Simon's Cat' Initially just an exercise for the artist Simon Tofield to learn adobe flash. Becoming so popular, he turned it into a series of videos about his cat. I love the style of the illustration and the simplicity of the animation. And it's hilarious.
Goodbye loan, Hello Organisation.
